Please take one or both of the following surveys about tasks that you might do in After Effects. Pretty please? Your doing so will help us to learn what people are having trouble with and how we can make it better.
Are you talking about making improvements to the help documents or to the next version of After Effects? The number one biggest thing everyone is wanting from CS5 is true 64-bit processing across all the adobe apps. No more "Unable to allocate space for a XXXX x XXXX image buffer" error that frequently occur. We'd be able to have AE use more than 2GB of ram per process! I would appreciate it if you could pass this on to the dev team. Thank you.
I have not an hour ago reflected the same required improvement from CS5 as John Geddes has posted. The improvements to be gained from fully operating in a 64 bit environment cannot be understated.
However I would also like to see stability. I cannot abide programs that fall over. They effectively undermine confidence in that product and the providing manufacturer. Anyone who wants an example should look at what happened to Norton (Symantec) who have only just recovered after a break of 4-5 years during which othesr have taken market share from them.
