As the world’s largest social networking site, (845 million users worldwide) Facebook is undoubtedly a force to be reckoned with. We were therefore thrilled when they announced that Adobe has become the first Preferred Marketing Developer (PMD) member awarded badges for all four of Facebook’s Marketing APIs – Pages, Ads, Apps and Insights – especially as 232 companies originally applied!
You may be wondering what exactly that means and why it’s important for our customers? Well the announcement gives us a chance to highlight how you as a digital marketer can take advantage of some of our core social marketing capabilities and key differentiators that we deliver via our Digital Marketing Suite, including Adobe Social, a new product that integrates page management/engagement, listening, social ad buying and social analytics.
Read on for the Facebook PMD Badges Awarded to Adobe…
- Pages Qualification: We provide solutions to help marketers manage their Facebook pages with capabilities such as post scheduling and targeting, moderation, permissioning and auto-tagging of posts with campaign codes, to name a few.
- Ads Qualification: Our customers can manage and optimise Facebook advertising campaigns for maximum impact. For example, customers can easily turn Facebook content into a sponsored story and/or use Adobe solutions to optimise bids on Facebook ads to improve campaign performance.
- Apps Qualification: We provide digital marketers with a flexible and customisable app builder as well as auto tagging of apps to measure from ad click, to app engagement, to website conversion and beyond. Digital marketers can also leverage Adobe technology to perform A/B testing of app creative and copy for better app relevance and engagement and will benefit from a social content management system to create a consistent look and feel of apps and app copy across locales.
- Insights Qualification: We offer deep measurement expertise so digital marketers can tie social activity to business results like revenue or key conversion metrics. Additionally, customers enjoy seeing their social data (earned, owned and paid) alongside their data from other digital channels for a truly integrated, holistic view of the performance of all of their digital marketing activities.
And there we have it – Facebook APIs 101! Now is a really exciting time to be a digital marketer and as Facebook continues to innovate and enhance their platform, we’ll be working closely with them to continue providing the most comprehensive and sensible support solutions possible to make your life that little bit easier!
