Adobe Muse is a new tool available to Creative Cloud subscribers which lets graphic designers create websites without writing code. Today, we’re releasing a new version of Muse that includes built-in support for contact forms. In addition, this new version is now available in Japanese.

The new support for built-in contact forms allows you to easily add, configure, and style contact forms within your website designs. By using this new feature, you no longer have to embed HTML code from 3rd-party online form providers. This is just the beginning of work the Muse product team is doing to bring more extensive content management capabilities directly into the product through tighter integration with our site hosting platform, Adobe Business Catalyst. This video shows how easy it is to work with contact forms.

We’ve also added the ability to add and link to downloadable files of any type including .pdf, .zip, .dmg, & .exe, as well as support for HTML5 animations created with Adobe Edge. There’s more, so be sure to read the release notes to find out all the new goodies in this updated version of Muse.

If you already have Muse installed, just open the app and click “Install Now” on the updater screen to get these new features. If you have yet to try it, download it here on Creative Cloud.

We’ve had a couple of weeks now to catch our breath since we launched Creative Cloud and Creative Suite 6 at the end of April. We’ve had such a great response from everyone about the new products that it’s definitely made all the hard work worth it.

Now we’re excited to announce that Creative Cloud is available as of today (11th May), and follows the shipping of Creative Suite 6 earlier this week (7th May). Our industry standard products are available to buy just as they ever were as individual point products or as a collection (Design Standard, Design & Web Premium, Production Premium and the Master Collection).

But for the first time, we’re also giving our customers a radical new way to access our tools and services through Creative Cloud, a membership based offering in which you get the complete Creative Suite 6 – including the likes of Photoshop, Premiere Pro, InDesign, After Effects, Flash Pro, Illustrator and Dreamweaver.

As well as the CS6 product line, with Creative Cloud you also get Adobe Muse, our new visual web design tool, and Edge, the HTML5 animation app. To this, we added a lot of services including Business Catalyst for web hosting, Typekit for fonts, and up to 20 gigabytes of cloud storage for syncing and sharing your files. Soon, we’ll also add access to our iPad publishing service for making digital editions of content such as magazines via InDesign.

Perhaps most exciting of all is that you get all this at a great price – £38.11 (ex VAT) per month based on an annual subscription). There’s also a special introductory offer for existing CS3, CS4, CS5 and CS5.5 customers who can access Creative Cloud at £22.23 (ex VAT)!

We could wax lyrical about this all day, so if you want to find out more, then check out Adobe TV to find out more about our new product portfolio.

A couple of weeks ago we released a new update to our Muse public beta software. From now on when you download the beta, you’ll have access to more than 80 new updates and performance enhancements all based on feedback we’ve had from the user community since the beta launched last summer.

In a nutshell, Muse is our latest Web design software which essentially lets you design and publish a HTML site without having to write the code. The use of tools such as Muse, and in fact technology across the board, should be encouraged in our Higher Education institutions.

It is important that young people today are given the opportunity to learn about technology and how it can be used to tell a story in more creative way, whether in the classroom or when they start their careers. Muse is just one way they can do this.

So what can you expect from our latest updates to Muse? The beta now includes autoscrolling, so when you drag an item to the edge of the view, the view automatically scrolls in that direction. Plus export and publish times have been improved so they’re now much quicker and easier. There’s loads more so check out our Muse Blog to get all the details.

If you want to learn more about how you can use Muse in your lecturers then it’s worth a visit to our site where you can download the beta for free, take a look through a gallery of Muse-created websites, and also access instructional tutorials.
