There have been two key Education announcements recently; the University of Salford and Adobe Education Exchange.
- With the University of Salford we have worked with them on announcing our partnership, which is very exciting. The University’s new faculty at MediaCityUK (the new home for BBC and ITV and Uni of Salford) will see Production Premium 5.5 throughout the Uni’s studio, we’ll be working with them on R&D in video and audio, and we’re offering students work placements with our video team. Our blog can be found here, contact me for the full press release.
- Today, we’ve launched the UK Adobe Education Exchange. It’s an online community for teachers and lecturers where they can share resources, curriculum plans, and advice. At a time when the training budget for teachers/lecturers is being squeezed, this community-based Exchange aims to provide a a forum to educators to be inspired and develop skills. Our release focused on secondary education can be found here. Respective blogs will be going up today on our School and Higher Ed blog later today. Check out Liz Wilkins’ short video intro here, and views from Adobe Education Leader, Saiqa Liaqat, here.
