The UK Education team are excited to announce the launch of Adobe Generation. Adobe Generation is a series of free online courses (each lasting nine weeks), designed to teach UK students (aged 14-19) key skills that will help them in a range of creative careers. Teachers wanting to develop their own digital skills so they can integrate them into their lessons are also welcome to join.
The following Adobe Generation courses are kicking off in early October, but students (and their teachers) can sign up now!
- Games Design – will run each Monday – 1st October – 26th November at 7- 8pm
- Animation- will run each Tuesday - 2nd October – 27th November at 7- 8pm
- Photo Imaging – will run each Thursday - 4th October – 29th November at 7- 8pm
Every course will include a live weekly session taught online using Adobe Connect and will give students the chance to develop their skills in Adobe products, and access to guest speakers from the creative industries, including the creative geniuses behind A-Ha’s ‘Take On Me’ video and animated favourite Shaun the Sheep! Students will also be set weekly challenges (homework!), with prizes being given out to the best student work.
Please feel free to share information about these courses.

This is an excellent idea, are there any classes available for citizens in the USA?
Students from across the world are welcome to participate. These courses have been developed in the UK, for UK students and educators, so there are no USA specific courses available at present. if the time difference is a problem, all the sessions will be recorded and made available as web casts.
