Protecting Learners Information (Download before Jan 31)

Despite the fact that BECTA is closing down they have recently published an online training tool for securing learner information within schools and colleges. I haven’t reviewed the tool, but it looks a useful addition to any learning platform as it is SCORM 1.2 compliant. Here are the details:

Protecting learners’ information level 1 is a SCORM 1.2 compliant learning object, intended for training use by staff in UK schools and local authorities. It may also be of use to FE and skills providers. The material is based on Cabinet Office training material for government departments and agencies and is Crown Copyright.
