Adobe Imagination Challenge

Now that the school year is well and truly underway it can sometimes be difficult for students to find the time to push themselves creatively outside of the classroom. After the initial buzz and excitement has started to wane and deadlines and exams start to become a realistic prospect, it’s important to help students keep their creative juices flowing.

Adobe has always been synonymous with creativity; for years we’ve empowered students to find their voice in the digital world and provided the tools to help them express it. Our software is globally recognised as a leader in fostering innovation and it is with this in mind that we are proud to announce the launch of our newest initiative to help students nurture and promote their talent – the Adobe Imagination Challenge.

Untilm November 2011 the Adobe Imagination Challenge will help students get the most from Adobe software as well as offer them the opportunity to gain national recognition and win some incredible prizes in the process. From our student portal https://students-adobe.com/UK they can download trial versions of our entire suite of software and also find the resources to help them fully utilise its powerful features.

There is no limit to a student’s imagination and in recognition entries can be as varied as their creativity will allow. Whether it’s a poster, a dream, a belief, a dress, a video or an engineering plan we will provide the tools to say what they want to say – every form of self-expression is welcome. The best entries will be added to our Imagination Gallery where students can share it with friends and vote on other entries that they love. To make it even better, we’ll be giving away a £50 gift voucher every day simply for voting.

Our guest judges who will oversee the competition and provide weekly challenges to motivate minds and help students find their voice:

  • Helena Christensen (supermodel, photographer)
  • Greg James (TV & Radio presenter)
  • David Rowan (Editor, Wired UK)

Through blogs, videos and tutorials they will share their expertise and ultimately help us find the three overall winners of the Adobe Imagination Challenge that will walk away with £10,000 each.

It’s not just students that benefit though; we’re also offering an 80% discount on Adobe Creative Suite 5.5 Student and Teacher Editions for teachers working in Primary & Secondary Schools. You can find everything you need to help your students get started at https://students-adobe.com/UK/

*Please note that the Adobe Imagination Challenge is open to students aged 15yrs and above from England, Scotland & Wales.
