Adobe Creative Suite and Windows 8

Adobe Creative Suite  CS6, and CS5.5 applications are expected to work on Windows 8.

As per the Creative Suite FAQs:

At this time, none of the CS5.5 or CS6 applications require updates to be compatible with Windows 8.

In our testing, we have found no significant issues with running CS5.5, CS6 or Acrobat products with Windows 8.

For more information, see Microsoft Windows 8 compatibility section the Creative Suite FAQs.

For a list of products and OS compatibility, see Adobe product operating system compatibility.

    Hi,

I was wondering if it is possible to run Creative Suite 4 in Windows 8 if it’s possible to run Creative Suites 5.5 & 6. Do you expect it would run alright? Thanks.

I have Adobe Contribute 4 and I can not get it to install on Windows 7 or Windows 8. It starts and just hang. I can not find anything on the Adobe WEB site to indicate that there are any issues. Will AC 4 work with WIn 7 and Win 8? Thanks.

I ran CS (2003) on Win 7 ultimate. Alas, on Win 8, I can’t get an activation code from tech support. Any one know what numbers to type. I don’t want to reload Win 7.

In Windows 8 Enterprise Adobe Acrobat X will no longer run. It says it is running but no window comes up. Also it is not listed in the Adobe updater anymore.

3rd time trying to install trial ID on new windows 8 laptop. first it tells me (everytime) your computer is scheduled to shut down (whick it isn’t) and it suggests finishing later (after it has already downloaded). I choose to ignore, and let it install. After choosing folder and so forth, it begins to install, doesn’t get past 2% and installation time increases 1min/ for every second that passes, it is now up to over 52000 min.
how do I install this program?
… currently using cloud download, previously used traditional online download/install.

Has Adobe created any fixes to run CS 3 on Windows 8? I keep getting a error code. If none of the new versions run either what are we supposed to do?
