How to install Adobe Output Module in Bridge CC

Adobe_Bridge_CC_mnemonic_RGB_128px_no_shadowWhen we shipped Adobe Bridge CC, it did not include the Adobe Output Module (AOM), which allowed you to create PDF Presentations and Web Galleries.  The team has worked some magic and the Adobe Output Module is now available for Bridge CC. Use the instructions in the following document to install it:  How to install Adobe Output Module in Bridge CC.

In addition, make sure you have the most recent version of Bridge CC installed. To check for updates, in Bridge, choose Help > Updates, and then follow the instructions to install any updates.

I followed the instructions in the document and it all worked until I said ‘Yes’ to enable it. I did that but it still does not appear in Bridge. Can anyone help me please?

Tried to install the Output Module, but nothing appeared.
How to add email function to Bridge on my Mac?
Any assist is most welcome :)

…great. Installed the output module exactly as the instructions said, clicked yes to enable the module and now, guess what? Bridge CC won’t open at all. Thanks. Sometimes I wish there was a competitor with equivalent products, because Adobe seems hell bent to waste my bloody time. Encore, missing from Premiere, is another time waster. I pay $600+ per year, and ease of use (not to mention support) is getting worse rather than better.

Wasteing your time is their priority. It’s Monday, worked all weeekend to get a project ready to deliver today but when I go to export I find the output moduel in bridge is nowhere to be found. Now I have spent the morning trying to figure it out and I expect to blow the rest of the morning fixing it… Why does Adobe change things to the point the product is not functional and it takes us half a day to fix it? If I can figure it out my self it will work today, if not I will be stuck waiting days for a reply in a blog somewhere. Will someone build some software and put support behind it. I will buy it right now!

I cant wait to ditch Adobe.

Yup – nice that they created a module to add back in the basic functionality that they for some unfathomable reason decided to remove… But alas, I install it exactly as instructed and nothing shows up in Bridge. : /

I have spent 4 days trying to install the output module without success. I’ve followed every word of the instructions to no avail. I so so many people have the same problem. Why does Adobe just not fix the problem and release it again??

Yep, same problem. Adobe where are you?

I’m in the same boat… installed, clicked yes to enable, restarted, no output module…

but I did figure out a workaround of sorts – select one or multiple images (RAW) in Bridge, open in RAW converter, select them all again then use Save… button on bottom left to run conversion of files, specifying location, file format, etc.

Here’s hoping there’s a fix for output module, as this workaround is cumbersome and time-wasting.
