Creative Cloud, CS6, and Windows 8.1

Microsoft announced the general availability of Windows 8.1 today. The natural question to ask is, should I upgrade or not? Will my existing software work? Will my Creative Cloud apps continue to work?

Hola, he actualizado a Windows 8.1 y Illustrator CC en castellano no funciona.
Desde el soporte técnico de Adobe me han informado que se está mirando de solucionar el problema.
Me parece un fallo muy grave por parte de Microsoft/Adobe, pues nadie estaba informado del problema.
¿Me podéis avisar cuando esté solucionado?
    Gracias

    Hi there,
I installed Windows 8.1 today and ever since, my Photoshop CS6 has been uncharacteristically glitchy. For example:
    1. I can’t get the circle off my cursor onscreen, which hinders easy functionality.
    2. The image keeps rotating/tilting spontaneously (and the only way to get it back upright is to close file and reopen it). 3. Now there is an aqua line going vertically down the middle of the image … not sure what triggered its appearance or how to get rid of it (i can’t draw over, not sure what it means).
The program was running perfectly beforehand. And I had just figured out how to get rid of the circle!! (which only appeared after I bought a computer with Windows 8 on it … cursor circle never appeared with Windows 7).
I was trying to figure out if the glitch was with Adobe PS, Wacom Intuos5 or Windows 8. Pretty sure it’s Windows now. Anyone have any suggestions?? I need to have fluidity when illustrating, not an obstacle course.
    Thanks all!
    Jana

Also, 4. There is a delay between drawing on the drawing pad and what appears onscreen (never had that before) and unusual jerkiness.

I installed Win 8.1 and have Adobe CC products, Illustrator, etc.

Ever since then Illustrator has LOTS of BUGS. So I went back to Win 8 Pro and all IS resolved.

Guess that’s what I get for jumping on the Win upgrade bandwagon so fast. I never do it, I don’t know what came over me.

Bottom line, WAIT a few months before upgrading, by then Adobe/Win 8.1 will have it resolved.

My problem is after I updated to Windows 8.1 pro…now my Adobe Bridge will not work. How can I resolve this or go back to Windows 8?

I’m using CS 5. When I updated to 8.1 today at first things were fine. But after a few hours bridge quit working. I believe the only thing it could be is the upgrade to 8.1
Examples: In Bridge it won’t update names now, also that screen has changed, after I try to change names Bridge just spins and I can’t see any of the pictures in the folders.
So if I upgrade CS5 to CS6 will it be better?

InDesign CC deja de funcionar a los pocos segundos de arrancar… Y no se puede usar para nada. Uso Windows 8.1 Pro

Upgraded to Windows 8.1 and Photoshop CC is now sluggish, slow and frustrating to use!!!

I’ve been working with old CS2, because I’m on a tight budget. Everything’s worked fine under Win8 for a couple of years. Now, after upgrading to Win 8.1 last week, InDesign won’t let me do ANYTHING with a document. Only open, minimize and close. That’s it. no tools, no printing, no nothing. And, of course, I can’t uninstall Win 8.1 (wasn’t that convenient of them?) HELP!!
