Or at least it was. Today, Adobe, Apple, Facebook, Google, HP, Microsoft, Mozilla, Nokia, Opera, and the W3C are announcing Web Platform Docs (WPD) on webplatform.org. The goal of WPD is to become the most comprehensive and authoritative resource for web technologies on the planet. And since we want everyone to contribute, WPD is implemented as a wiki.
I was lucky enough to be one of the contributors to the effort, and now we invite all web developers out there to join in. To learn more, watch the video below, check out the post on the Adobe & the Web blog, read the W3C press release, or just head over to Web Platform Docs and check it out. Your days of blindly searching for APIs and simply praying you come across a reliable and accurate resource are rapidly drawing to a close.
