Fantastic Movie - Serenity

I just watched a fantastic movie. Serenity is Joss Whedon's latest effort. He managed to ressurect a fascinating TV show (Firefly) that was only on for 11 out of sequence episodes a few years ago.

For those who are not followers of Whedon's work, more information about the story and characters can be found at: http://serenitymovie.com/nonflash_site/index.html but beyond that, the movie is incredibly well acted, the story deep and multi-layered, and the writing, as usual in Whedon's work, is incredible.

Have a fun couple of hours watching a story about heroes. We need more movies like this

Darn tootin'! Serenity is a great film, though especially for folks who were fans of the TV series. The series (all 13 episodes, including some that never aired) are also available on DVD, btw.

Serenity had an uneven feel about it, bit's i loved and other bits were so wooden they should have been put on a fire.

I thought The Operative (Chiwetel Ejiofor) was, for me, the most interesting character; the ships captain was a cardboard cut out from a million other non descript movies.

It's good to see hollywood hasn't lost it's appetite fro British anti heroes. I think that stereotype has miles to go.
The martial art’s scenes were incredible can some one tell me what art they were using, it was phenomenal.
