Paul Gilbertson is a Senior Product Specialist for Adobe focused on collaboration and eLearning technologies . Paul has been a long standing Adobe champion, being an expert in most of the eLearning and rich media products. Paul has over 20 years of experience in consulting, teaching, and managing eLearning development projects. Between his three different tenures with Adobe and Macromedia, he has run his own development firm with clients including 3M, the CIA’s Federal Language Training Lab, and the big three airlines: Northwest, United and American.
Paul holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Management and a minor in Music from the University of Minnesota.
As the Director of Public Sector & Health Strategy, Michael leads global program management and business strategy for Adobe's Digital Experience Solutions for health care and government industries.
In his role, Michael leverages an extensive background in health economics, digital marketing, and government relations to foresee and seize market growth opportunities, and to evangelize the value of intuitive, multi-channel platforms that drive conversion and improve outcomes.
Michael brings over 15 years’ experience in progressive roles at IT, biotech, and medical device companies, and a history of leveraging technology to help organizations achieve measurable results.
Prior to joining Adobe, he served as director of marketing and business development at MicroProbes for Life Science where he oversaw product commercialization and global distribution channels for a line of implantable medical devices. Before MicroProbes, Michael was a marketing lead for Otsuka America Pharmaceutical Inc. where he played an integral role in launching the company’s first hospital and oncology brands.
Michael earned an MBA as well as a Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems from the University of Baltimore. He is also a proud veteran of the US Coast Guard.
