Adobe & Careers

Why would you consider a career at Adobe?

March 1, 2011

Welcome to the inaugural issue of Life@Adobe. We are thrilled to be able to share with you a glimpse of what it’s like behind the creative walls of Adobe across the globe. Looking at a recent survey we conducted amongst the LinkedIn User Community about reasons why one would consider a career at Adobe, it has given us a lot of ideas regarding the types of information we should be sharing with you through this blog.

The feedback from the survey clearly conveys one thing. People choose to make a career change because they desire to make a difference for themselves or to be part of a greater cause. And this desire stems from an emotional, intellectual, financial or logistical connection with the company.

We see thousands of potential employees come through Adobe for a chance to partake in the game-changing technologies we create and to be part of our exciting journey to change the world through digital experiences. There’s no escaping the impact of Adobe. We’re everywhere you look – on the web, in print, on billboards, on mobile devices, in virtual classrooms, in blockbuster movies. We’re in an exciting time and if you’re looking to make an impact on the digital landscape, Adobe is the place for you. You’ll definitely have an opportunity to be challenged intellectually and professionally.

Adobe is moving beyond being a powerhouse in the content authoring space (via creative and digital media software) to transforming how enterprises engage, sell and service their customers (through customer experience management offerings like LiveCycle, Connect, Acrobat) and offering marketers the ability to measure and optimize online content for enhanced user experiences (via online marketing analytics). We’re excited by these vast opportunities and are looking to hire exceptional talent globally this year.

I think we can all agree that working for a company that has innovative products and technologies is one thing. However, working with a bunch of genuine, talented, fun and engaged individuals who are motivated to do their best work possible in a respectful manner takes the experience to a whole other level. Our employees truly shape our culture and it’s not by chance that we’ve been on Fortune’s Best 100 Places To Work for 12 years. It’s because our employees live the Adobe values – genuine, exceptional, innovative and involved. These values shape everything we do, from how we develop and market our products to how we serve our customers, colleagues, and communities.

We invite you to discover what it’s like to work at Adobe.
