Free Falling for the Customer

Skydive2Senior enterprise account executive Richard R. has only been with Adobe for about seven months, but he’s already shown his mettle by going to great lengths–and heights.

It all started after hundreds of hours negotiating with a large California-based biotech company. At stake was a deal for Adobe Media Optimizer, a solution within the Adobe Marketing Cloud that predicts the impact of budget and optimization changes to digital campaigns, giving advertisers the ability to manage their business with confidence and efficiency. After a particularly serious meeting, Richard asked his main contact Keith what was on his bucket list, and if he’d like to have some out-of-work bonding time to check one off that list. 
”To my surprise, Keith said ‘Yes! Let’s go skydiving!'” Richard explained.

So off they went, up 13,000 feet above sunny Oceanside, just outside of San Diego, California. Keith told Richard to jump first, so he did. And he loved it.

“I would absolutely do it again for business,” Richard said. “It was a great experience, I made the customer happy, and I made a friend as well. This is what we do at Adobe – create experiences with customers and do whatever it takes to meet their needs.”
