Introduction to Using Avatars

In my last post, I introduced the idea that characters can be used in a number of ways in your eLearning course. Now Iā€™d like to start with the first example: eLearning avatars. An avatar is probably the most common use that I see in eLearning courses. Some common characteristics of an avatar in a course are that they:

  • Are designed to guide a learner through the course
  • Speak directly to the learner
