Moving a meeting/seminar associated with an event from its original folder to another folder may result in deletion of the event

Problem Statement: Moving a meeting/seminar associated with an event from its original folder to another folder may result in deletion of the event itself.

Environment: 

  • Adobe Connect Hosted/ on-Premise
  • Adobe Connect 9 and above

Workflow:

  • Create an Event and associate a meeting/seminar with it.
  • Now  try to move the associated meeting from Shared/My Meetings to a Webinar Manager folder.
  • You will get a warning when attempted to move the meeting:

(NOTE: Once an Event is created associating it with Meeting/Seminar, it is not recommended to move that meeting/seminar from its original location to another folder.)

Additional Information:

  •  If required instead of moving a meeting/seminar associated with an event from its original folder to another folder, create a new seminar/meeting and associate it with existing event.
