Although the Adobe Youth Voices Aspire Awards have drawn to a close, we want to continue exploring what a powerful tool media creation can be for enriching the education experience.
While participating in the Aspire Awards this spring, students had the opportunity to learn a range of skills, including technical expertise, verbal and visual storytelling, teamwork, and exhibition.
It’s got us thinking, what have educators and youth mentors observed inside and outside of the classroom? What successes can we build on, to ensure that today’s generation of young people continue to grow in step with a rapidly changing world?
So now, we’re asking you to share your thoughts with us:
- When, where and how are young people creating media in educational settings?
- What happens when media is incorporated into the education process?
- What skills do you think are most important for students’ success beyond the classroom?
Better yet, if you’re going to be at ISTE in San Diego next week, come find us and share your thoughts in person – you can locate us at the Adobe booth on the showroom floor, or join us for one of our daily workshops. We can’t wait to meet you!
