Supporting The Next Generation of Female Creatives

This week in New York, two events designed to empower female creatives are coming together, and Adobe is proud to support both events.

The first is the 3% Conference, dedicated to helping change the ratio of female creative directors in the advertising industry. We’re proud to be a founding sponsor of the organization and its Student Scholar Competition. This year’s competition asked students to answer “Why is improving the future of the ad business everyone’s business?” in a 1 minute video.

12 student winners are in NYC this week to attend the 3% Conference. While there, they’ll receive a portfolio review from industry professionals, and will have their videos shown on the main stage of the conference throughout the event.

We’ve also unveiled the World’s Biggest Student Art Show in New York this month. We partnered with Colossal Media to create an all-female outdoor exhibit dedicated to elevating and empowering tomorrow’s creatives. The show is currently taking place in Brooklyn and features work by 10 female students from around the world. It is our latest manifestation of our “Make It Creative Cloud” campaign, which brings students’ ideas and ambitions to life. The students a part of the art show will also be honored at the 3% Conference, with their work highlighted in a series of videos and Adobe’s social channels.

Adobe is strongly committed to diversity in all forms, and these programs are just some of the work we do to help empower creativity.
