Shantanu Narayen has been recognized on Barron’s “World’s Best CEOs” list, along with 30 top leaders from around the world including Jeff Bezos, Warren Buffet, Reed Hastings, and Larry Page.

The article highlights Shantanu’s impact on Adobe’s business transformation, “In his nine years at Adobe he has expanded the software maker’s expertise, moving beyond design products and into mainstream marketing applications. He has also provided a blueprint for software firms that are dumping boxed software in favor of more profitable subscription-based products.”

To compile its annual list of top CEOs, Barron’s says it reflects on the collective wisdom of the publication’s editors and writers. They do not seek specific criteria, other than a history of strong leadership over a lengthy period. Read more about the list here (login required).
