One of our missions is to give artists the tools they need to bring their ideas to life on every screen and in every medium. 2017 marks another year as a Leadership Sponsor of the Sundance Film Festival, as well sponsoring the festival’s NEXT category. We’re thrilled to support the Sundance Institute and all the creative visionaries whose work continues to inspire us year after year.
If you aren’t heading to Park City, here’s how we’re bringing the film fest to you.
Pillow Talk is Back!
Building on our 2016 success, we’re refreshing our Pillow Talk live interview series. This year’s theme: “Make it an Experience.” Our host, Jonathan Hyla, is back in bed to uncover the stories behind the stories of top up-and-coming filmmakers. We’ll be streaming via Facebook Live Friday, January 20 through Tuesday, January 24. Here’s a quick preview of different faces and names joining us in bed:
Our livestream conversations with filmmakers isn’t tied to the bedroom set. We also have an inspiring line-up for our panel: “Lights, Camera, Edit: Directing with an Editorial Eye.” In Park City? Join us live on Friday, January 20 from 3:00-4:30 pm MT at the Cinetransformer build-out on Main Street (approx. 500 Main Street). You can also watch it our Creative Cloud YouTube Channel.
Sundance Ignite x Project 1324: Making Films for Change
The second half of the festival will spotlight emerging filmmakers, who are pushing storytelling boundaries. Fifteen of our Sundance Ignite and Project 1324 “What’s Next?” Challenge winners and Fellows will be in Park City screening their short films, which you can watch here, and networking with their mentors. They’ll be part of a jam-packed, exclusive schedule with a filmmaking bootcamp and more. We’ll be bringing a portion of this to you live.
On Wednesday, January 25, we’ll live stream the Ignite panel, “Making Films for Change,” starting at 2:30 pm MT. Tune in here or on Facebook.
