Interbrand just announced their Best Global Brands of 2017 and we’ve made the list once again, jumping up seven spots from 2016 to land at number 56. We were also honored as one of the Top Growing Brands for the second year in a row.
Interbrand’s list recognizes companies that are “mastering growth in a changing world,” with a deep look at the strength of their brands. According to Paola Norambuena of Interbrand, the ten companies on the Top Growing Brands list share a few important characteristics: regardless of the age of the company, they embrace the “Grow, Change, Grow” cycle, put customers at the center of all they do, and maintain a commitment to a meaningful purpose.
The methodology for Interbrand’s rankings includes a close look at each company’s market, brand, competitors, and financial data to determine an overall brand valuation.
We first landed on the Best Global Brands list back in 2009 at number 95, and we’ve been climbing ever since. This year, we’re in great company with other customer-focused brands including Amazon, Facebook, Starbucks, and Adidas.
