And they are at the heart of Adobe’s new global Hovering Art Director campaign, which spotlights the benefits of the integration between Creative Cloud and Adobe Stock.
Overcoming everyday creative challenges
Creative professionals and Art Directors face a range of pressures and performance challenges, as outlined last year by a panel of leading designers convened for Computer Arts’ 20th anniversary.
These include working with ever-shorter deadlines, staying relevant in the fast-changing field of digital marketing, and adapting to technological change, while continuing to make great work and balance thinking with doing.
These findings chime with our own research with Forrester last year, which found that advanced design practices are commercially important for businesses, contributing to the pressure on Art Directors to deliver. For example, half of design-led firms say that advanced design practices lead to more satisfied and loyal customers, while nearly half report that they lead to a greater competitive edge, more new business wins and greater market share.
Keeping up with the pace of change
So how can design-led firms and their Hovering Art Directors keep up? Adobe’s new campaign highlights the answer by putting a spotlight on how the integration between Creative Cloud and Adobe Stock benefits creative professionals. According to a recent report, creatives can see a 10x productivity gain with Adobe Stock in Photoshop. So many steps are eliminated that the process of licensing an image goes from nearly 3 minutes to 16 seconds*.
