‘Creativity Unleashed’ at Adobe MAX with Adobe Creative Cloud, Adobe Touch Apps and Digital Publishing Suite Single Edition


We’re coming to you live from Adobe MAX, Adobe’s annual designer and developer conference, and day one has been a news-filled day! Earlier today, our CTO Kevin Lynch delivered an impressive and inspirational keynote, ‘Creativity Unleashed’ announcing some exciting new developments for the creative community. The focal point was around a new major initiative – Adobe Creative Cloud – along with some key creative and publishing applications, including Adobe Touch Apps and Digital Publishing Suite Single Edition!

Creative Suite Spotlight: Illustrator Tad Carpenter

tad-profile-photo21There’s no question that there are amazing creative pros doing great work with Adobe products. To elevate what we’re seeing out there from our users, we’re kicking off the first of our “Creative Suite Spotlight Series” featuring Tad Carpenter! Tad is an Illustrator, designer and teacher living in Kansas City, Mo.  He spends most of his time running his own studio, working with notable brands such as: Macy’s, Target, Atlantic Records, The Corcoran Museum, Dave & Busters, Hallmark Cards, Land of Nod and MTV, to name a few. Tad also teaches graphic design at the University of Kansas – his alma mater.

Incorporating Tablets and Mobile Devices Into Your Creative Process


Before the announcement of our Adobe Touch Apps, we asked our Creative Suite Ambassador Group* how they use tablets or mobile devices during the creative process, and what they hope to see from tablets and mobile devices in the future. Creative Suite Ambassador of the Month: Verneda Lights

We’ve learned more about what moves them to create and have seen some inspiring work.  Today we are sharing the first in a series of interviews from one of our Ambassadors through our  ‘Ambassador of the Month’ feature.


I’m happy to introduce, Verneda Lights.  Verneda is a poet, performer, graphic artist, and a M.D. We caught up with Verneda to find out how she started her professional career as a designer and much more.

Get to Know Adobe Digital Publishing Suite, Single Edition


This sure has been an exciting Adobe MAX 2011 for designers! During Monday’s keynote, our Adobe Digital Publishing Suite (DPS), Single Edition was announced by our CTO Kevin Lynch. This new edition is truly a game changer as it’s an affordable solution, which means everyone gets the opportunity to publish. Freelance designers, designers at small businesses and smaller design firms can now affordably publish a single branded publication to the iTunes App Store. DPS, Single Edition enables you to publish content including brochures, highly-visual books, annual reports, or a personal design portfolio.
