Adobe MAX 2016: Featured Speakers for Video

For those looking to create dynamic and visually stunning videos, MAX is the place to be to learn how to apply creative techniques to a seamless workflow that allows you to easily move projects through the production pipeline. These sessions are meant for editors, motion graphics designers, VFX artists, post-production professionals, broadcast professionals, educators, photographers, designers and other creative pros who want to learn how to work with video. These sessions will give you all the tools you need to get started, and to take it to the next level.

Robbie Carman – As a past MAX Master, we’re excited to welcome Robbie Carman back this year. Robbie’s 15+ years of color grading experience have helped National Geographic, Discovery Networks, hundreds of independent filmmakers and national political campaigns get the best looks for their projects. Robbie has authored 6 books and dozens of hours of training content for including the popular Video Gear Weekly show with Richard Harrington. Robbie is also the co-founder of a subscription website focused on color grading across multiple platforms & skill levels.

Rich Harrington – Rich is an Adobe Master Trainer as well as a practiced expert in motion graphic design and digital video. Starting his career out in the world of broadcast journalism, Rich has always had great interest in visual communications. His producing skills were also recognized by AV Video Multimedia Producer Magazine who named him as one of the Top Producers of 2004. Rich is a member of the National Association of Photoshop Professionals Instructor Dream Team, and a popular speaker at international conferences. He has chaired conferences since 2003 for the National Association of Broadcasters.

Dave Werner – Dave Werner is a Senior Experience Design Lead for the Character Animator team at Adobe. He’s also an Adobe MAX Master. His past projects include the FWA-winning portfolio site Okaydave, TechCrunch50 finalist Atmosphir, and the Extraneous Lyrics video series. Dave’s work has been featured by Wired, The Verge, Gawker, Entertainment Weekly, TechCrunch, Kotaku, College Humor, and Sesame Street.

Luisa Winters – Luisa loves gear, gadgets and technology. She loves After Effects and to fly drones – so much, that she became a private pilot in 2015! Luisa Winters is a Certified Instructor for Adobe and Apple (ACI and ACT). She consults for organizations and works at several different training centers all over the United States and abroad. Luisa is one of the few Adobe Premiere Pro Master instructors. A well-known artist, Luisa often speaks at different conferences on topics ranging from video editing to compositing and web. Throughout her career, Luisa has won several awards, including: Telly Awards Videographer Awards Aegis Awards WEVA Hall of Fame Baltimore Videographers Association Excellence Award Luisa is an author, speaker, consultant and overall Adobe and Apple expert, she loves working with graphics, video and the web, as well as IT.
