Customers help celebrate Adobe Premiere Pro 25th anniversary at NAB 2017

Each year in Las Vegas, the NAB Show attracts more than 100,000 people in the media, entertainment, and technology industries. This year we’re excited to celebrate the 25th anniversary of Adobe Premiere Pro with NAB attendees. To commemorate this milestone, we’ve lined up an impressive roster of customers that includes an Academy Award winner, a visual effects guru, YouTube pioneers, and experts in editing feature films, music videos, and sports content, as well as creators specializing in visual effects, stock video, and audio production.

At NAB 2017, we’ll reflect on the evolution of Adobe Creative Cloud pro video tools and explore what lies ahead. You’ll be inspired by our customers and energized by our evangelists, who will talk in detail about new features and workflow enhancements.

Rob Legato – The three-time Academy Award Winner, VFX Supervisor, and 2nd Unit Director/Cameraman will talk about his visualization process and how it played a role in his work on films including The Aviator, Avatar, Shutter Island, Hugo, The Wolf of Wall Street, and The Jungle Book. Video Copilot – Founder Andrew Kramer will talk about the increasing demand for visual effects across multiple disciplines and how visual effects are evolving to help filmmakers tell richer stories that connect more deeply with audiences. Clemson Athletics – Jonathan Gantt, Director of New & Creative Media & Nik Conklin, Associate Director of New & Creative Media, will wow audiences with how they deliver high-quality social video sports coverage to Clemson’s enthusiastic fan base. Jonathan and Nik will be presenting Tuesday, April 25th at 4:30 PM and Wednesday, April 26th at 4:30 PM. Watch the replay of their presentation. Vashi Nedomansky – Vashi Nedomansky, a talented editor of 11 feature films who developed post-production workflows for Deadpool, Gone Girl, and Sharknado 2, will discuss the workflow behind the first natively edited 6K feature film, 6 Below. Vinnie Hobbs – The editor of top music videos including Kendrick Lamar’s Alright and Fergie’s MILF Money, as well as the SXSW film Licks, will talk about how things like organization, rhythm, technique, and film knowledge, can turn an aspiring editor into a full time editor. Rooster Teeth Productions – Motion Design Director Brian Behm, will share how the streaming pioneers manage all production in-house for their popular shows, including Red vs. Blue, RWBY, Immersion, The Rooster Teeth Podcast, and Million Dollars, But…. Brian will be presenting Monday, April 24th at 3:00 PM and Wednesday, April 26th at 4:00 PM. He will also participate in the session Beyond Cat Videos: The Epic Rise of Online Video (and What it Means for Content Creators) in the YoPro Lounge on Tuesday, April 25th from 3:00 PM to 3:45 PM. Fine Brothers Entertainment – Nick Bergthold, Head of Post Production for the award-winning global media brand, will discuss the ongoing acceleration of internet content and what it takes to keep pace and stay relevant. Nick will be presenting Tuesday, April 25th at 11:30 AM and Wednesday, April 26th at 10:30 AM. SuperSphereVR – Founder Lucas Wilson will give insight into the rapidly changing landscape of 360-degree, VR, and AR video production and how to leverage technology in service of storytelling. Frank Serafine – Well-known Supervising Sound Editor & Sound Designer Frank Serafine will talk about the role audio plays in a production and the sound effects work he did on the Mercury Insurance Covers Superhero Damage commercial.
