Introducing the 2015 Adobe MAX Insiders

We’re thrilled to share with the world the talented and inspiring group of creatives we’ve invited to be this year’s Adobe MAX Insiders. Serving as the eyes and ears on the ground for the community members who aren’t able to join us, the MAX Insiders will be sharing their experience at the keynotes, sneaks, parties and more on social media. They’ll even get behind-the-scenes at some exclusive events.

Naomi Atkinson 

Naomi

Naomi is founder of retail venture Whosit & Whatsit, and design studio Naomi Atkinson Design.After years of experience across London-based web, advertising, and branding agencies, she is now based back where it all began: in the north of England. From there she runs her two businesses, ogles at the breathtaking views, and is making waves in the local independent design and arts scene.

As well as previously being awarded Ubelly [a Microsoft company’s] The Next Big Thing, and being nominated for net magazine’s Designer of the Year, she has appeared in a variety of publications for her design work.

Karen Kavett

Karen Kavett carries many titles. She’s a graphic designer, RISD graduate, YouTuber, and artist, just to name a few. She spends her days creating videos for YouTube, both as a DIY Crafter on HGTV Handmade, and as the host of her own popular channel which focusses on graphic design and crafting.

A graduate of the Rhode Island School of Design in 2011 with a major in graphic design, Karen also tackles freelance graphic design work when she’s not making YouTube videos.

Jad Limcaco

Jad Limcaco has a passion to build great products that solve problems. By day, Jad works for SmartRecruiters, a talent acquisition platform, as a product designer. In his spare time you’ll find him tinkering away on his side projects (Famous Outfits, SiteSesh, Costume Wall), playing basketball, lifting weights, drinking coffee, eating ice cream, and exploring the outdoors.

Jad was once the proud owner of a popular web design blog called Design Informer, which was acquired by Smashing Magazine.

Joel Robison

Joel Robison takes incredible photos. Known for his conceptual portraits, Joel draws inspiration from the whimsical fantasy worlds created by Walt Disney, Dr. Seuss, and Jim Henson. He strives to captivate and tell a story with his work, giving a glimpse into his ideas and dreams.

Joel’s work has taken him around the world. He started out teaching workshops through a non-profit in the USA and Canada and has since taught 28 classes in 7 countries. He then was hired by Coca-Cola to participate as the lead photographer in the 2014 FIFA World Cup Trophy Tour, capturing happiness in 90 countries over a 9 month period. Nowadays, he lives in England, but who knows for how long!

Mike Winkelmann

Mike Winkelmann, better known as beeple to his fans and followers, is a graphic designer. For the last eight years and counting, Mike has created a new piece of art for his ‘everydays’ series.

He has also created a number of short films which have screened at onedotzero, Prix Ars Electronica, the Sydney Biennale, Ann Arbor Film Festival and many others. Contributing Creative Commons, Mike has also released live visuals that have been used by electronic acts such as deadmau5, Skrillex, Avicii, Zedd, Taio Cruz, Tiësto, Flying Lotus and many others.
