Keep Your Evenings Free in February

Because… It’s Creative Cloud Training Month at KelbyOne.

With the breadth of digital tools available in Creative Cloud, our members have access to applications they’ve never used before… or never even thought to try. Maybe you’re a web designer interested in learning to use our pro video tools; maybe you’re an illustrator who finally wants to learn to use our digital imaging software; or maybe you just want to get the most out of Behance and Typekit.

No matter what you want to learn, or why you want to learn it, now’s the time to try the Adobe tools you’ve never tried before:

February is Creative Cloud Training Month at KelbyOne and they’re offering a different video course every weekday. Free.

The 30- to 90-minute courses will be available from 3:00pm to 6:00pm PST (6:00pm to 9:00pm EST and 11:00pm to 2:00am GMT). The courses are free to the general public for three hours and available on-demand to KelbyOne members.

So block off your weekday evenings in February. Then decide whether you’d like to learn more about Typekit, Illustrator CC and InDesign CC; Photoshop CC, Premiere Pro CC and After Effects CC; or Behance, Muse CC and Camera Raw. And, finally, remember to head over to KelbyOne on Mondays to check on the courses for the week.

Ms. Garibaldi, just so I understand… the extent of free means that over the entire month of February, I can view a ‘total’ of 3 hours of video content and NOT several free video’s that may span over many hours. Given the opportunity, I would likely watch a video every night.

Thank you in advance for the clarification.

      Hi Mike,

You’re not limited to only three hours of viewing for the entire month. You can watch a video every day, it just has to be watched within that three hour period. (After that three hour period ends, the videos are only available to KelbyOne members on-demand.)

Does that help? I just want to make sure I answered your question.

Is there anything special we need to do to view the course during the free 3 hour time frame? Do we need to log in with our Adobe ID or anything? When I try to view the course now, it asks me to log in.

      Hi Shelly,

Nope. All you have to do is go to the page. The video trainings will be on a loop during the three-hour time periods.

Let me know if you have additional questions.

    It’s great!

I would like to take the video training

  • By Allen - 1:52 PM on February 6, 2014

Is it only 11pm to 2am gmt or will there be more world friendly times?

    • By Sue Garibaldi - 8:47 AM on February 7, 2014

You’re right, the GMT times are not super conducive to learning. But, I don’t know whether KelbyOne has plans to offer courses in the future or whether they might consider changing the hours. I do hope KelbyOne (or someone else) does trainings like this again. In just the few days it’s been running, it’s proved to be very popular.

We will share any new information on our social pages, so keep an eye out there. In the meantime, Adobe TV is a great learning resource.

I was excited to see the “free” Terry White InDesign presentation. I live in Arizona which is MST. I stayed up so I could watch and when I clicked on the button it stated that it was only available from 6 to 9 pm PST not 11 pm to 2 am. I cannot describe how disappointed I am. I was looking forward to watching so I could see an example to decide if I wanted to join. I currently subscribe to “Train Simple” and I am knew to InDesign and I am trying to learn as much as possible.

My sincere apologies for the misunderstanding about the time.

I’m hoping I can at least partially make up for you missing out on the course by pointing you in the direction of some of Adobe’s tutorials (some of which are led by Terry White). These are links specifically to InDesign but we also have trainings for our other applications. Adobe Learn: and Adobe TV:

I hope they help get you started.

I missed all the above dates. Are there any replays?

    • By Sue Garibaldi - 11:08 AM on February 10, 2014

      Hi Faruk,

There aren’t replays of past courses but if you go to KelbyOne’s home page on Monday mornings, you can see the courses they have scheduled for the upcoming week.

Hi! I could have sworn I’ve been to this blog before but after browsing through some of the
posts I realized it’s new to me. Anyways, I’m definitely happy I found it and
I’ll be bookmarking and checking back often!

    • By Sue Garibaldi - 6:42 PM on February 10, 2014

      Hi Rod,

Well, we just relaunched it so although it’s been here “in name” for awhile, the content is a bit different. Either way we’re glad you found it again and even happier that you’re bookmarking it.

      Thanks for your comments.
