MAX 2015 is Committed to Your Career

Learning the tools, meeting like-minded people, watching the cool sneaks, and rocking out to indie bands are all things you’ll do at MAX 2015. But they’ll mean very little if the MAX experience isn’t also in some way going to help you grow your career.

That’s why we put a strong focus on the job at hand with the aptly named track “Creative Careers — Insights on Taking Control and Doing Your Best Work.”

Hear from people who have made some seriously successful businesses, like Ceci Johnson, founder and designer with Ceci New York, who will give you a primer on leaving the corporate world to build out her own niche. Nick Onken, photographer, podcaster and entrepreneur, will talk about how a creative approach to work can help you live an inspired life — and pay the bills.

Maybe you aren’t looking to start your own business but want to get a better job with a top brand? Check out Stephen Gates’ and Trina Citron’s session, The Crazy Ones: How to Build a World-Class Career, which will cover what companies are looking for and how to avoid the most common interview and portfolio mistakes.

With 23 sessions and labs to choose from, the Creative Careers track at MAX 2015 will help you hone your craft, collaborate better and provide inspiration and insight into keeping a solid work/life balance.

And who knows, with such a strong cast of speakers and talented peers by your side, perhaps you might find your next colleague… or investor.

Interested in re-tooling and pursuing a Career Change as a Web Content Manager. Performed Microsoft Documentation management in the distant past. Currently, I’ve gone through half of the map web development training up to Basic Algorithms section in Where do I start? Don’t know at this time if I should pursue WordPress or Adobe Creative Cloud. I learn best and thrive in live classroom settings.
