Adobe Creative Cloud

New Adobe Stock Features Coming This Year

Update 11/30/2015: Adobe Stock will be available in Adobe Muse and and Flash Professional CC (soon to be named Adobe Animate CC) when those desktop apps are updated in early 2016.

Video content available

The Adobe Stock collection will soon include over 1 million high-definition video assets, adding to the existing collection of over 40 million photos, images and graphics. The video content will be available for licensing on and can also be searched, browsed and purchased directly from the Creative Cloud Libraries panel in Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Flash Pro, making for a truly seamless integration. Whether you need video clips for corporate or commercial use in videos, commercials, television shows or websites, Adobe Stock will have the video content you need.

In-app Search and Browse

With the upcoming release of the CC 2015 desktop apps, you will be able to start a search and browse search results directly from your favorite desktop apps. Simply enter a search term in the Creative Cloud Libraries panel and start browsing without ever having to leave your project. You can save a watermarked version or license an image directly from your Creative Cloud Libraries panel when you find an image or video you like. Working with stock content has never been this easy.

Adobe Stock available in more desktop apps

Muse CC, Dreamweaver CC and Flash Pro CC will now include the Creative Cloud Libraries panel and the ability to search, browse and license Adobe Stock content directly from the desktop, making your creative workflows more seamless than ever. Adobe Stock is already available in Photoshop CC, Illustrator CC, InDesign CC, Premiere Pro CC and After Effects CC.

Enterprise support

Adobe Stock is also being made available for enterprise use, with additional support for license management, reporting tools, and unlimited usage of stock content in large print runs via extended licenses. Enterprises will also be able to take advantage of pooled images for easy image access and management among groups.

    Hi Annemarie,

This service looks great so far! Can you tell me if there will be search functions for within libraries (and on Creative Cloud), and batch license/download options available in the future? I think both of these will be crucial with the $200/month subscription.

Also, are you able to see which images you’ve already licensed or copied to a library from the main search pages?

    Thanks for the update!

Will the new video content be included in an Adobe Stock subscription at no extra charge, or will the video assets costs extra (a la carte)? It’s not entirely clear from the language in the article.
