    Suport for H 265?????

Does this update change project files?

Our classroom won’t get updated until the end of the semester and I usually tell my students not to update their home versions as well, to avoid getting locked out. We’ve been burned by this in the past.

    • By Al Mooney - 8:18 AM on September 9, 2015

No – 9.0.2 is just a bug fix update and its project files are compatible with 9.0 and 9.0.1.

      thanks
      al.

Are you having problems with the updater?

Stability is Number ONE. Downloading now – I hope this makes PP as stable as AE – i can throw anything at it doesn’t crack – PP has to be same – if you can/do that – look out the rest, imo.

How about the AutoSave to Cloud on Mac… can you get that working please. Major problems for many of us! (check out your forums)

If you do not see your issue listed here we recommend that you submit a bug at: http://adobe.ly/ReportBug Each and every bug is read by our team and the more instances of the same bug the higher priority it is given.

My friend has been ranting like a loony for weeks about his endless crashes. On paper it looks like this stability release addresses all his complaints. Someone at Adobe must have been reading his 8 times a day, filth-strewn, swearing, crash report messages! 🙂

    • By Al Mooney - 8:17 AM on September 9, 2015

Well we do read all the communication we get but generally prefer them when they’re polite! But glad your friend is happy, on paper at least.

        Al,

This has been a persistent problem from earlier versions through the latest PP CC 2015 (although not your new update which isn’t yet installed)

Project Manager simply doesn’t work — gets half way through and issues an error – please try again w9thout any indication what is wrong

I’ve researched this and some people say it’s mixing audio rates 48K and 40 or 20Khz – and one time that fixed it to consolidate a project – but even without mixed rates am getting the error on different machines — is there a fix – or way to prevent this? Thanks Andy

Has the issue with Media Encoder not including any LUTs in its encodes, been resolved with this update?

    • By Jon - 6:54 AM on September 9, 2015

For anyone wondering, it appears that the LUT issue in ME has been fixed as well.

I am at a client site with three edit systems all running CC2015. Premiere Pro app says it is 9.0.0 but there is no option for updating. How do I update to the latest version?

    • By Al Mooney - 8:31 AM on September 9, 2015

As long as you have an internet connection you should see the updates in the Creative Cloud application – but I don’t know how your systems are installed / configured.

      thanks
      al.

      • By Michael V. Williams - 8:34 AM on September 9, 2015

yes, that’s been my experience up until now, so I don’t know why the updates are not showing up.

        • By Al Mooney - 8:40 AM on September 9, 2015

Can you try quitting and relaunching the CC app?

          • By Michael V. Williams - 9:26 AM on September 9, 2015

thinking of uninstalling CC and reinstalling but I’m concerned because I’ve got stuff to cut and we are on a deadline.

      Try this.

      Worked for me.

      Good luck.

Does this update fix the problem with the Topaz Labs plugins not working in PPro 2015? Thx.

    • By Meagan Keane - 12:06 PM on September 9, 2015

All fixes are listed here – if it is not listed our recommendation is to submit your bug request through http://adobe.ly/ReportBug

  • By Michael V. Williams - 9:22 AM on September 9, 2015

done that and no difference. btw, we are still on 9.0.0, so we never got the upgrade to 9.0.1 either.

Project Manager still doesn’t work – please advice

(Sorry realized i burred this under someone else s comment – reposting)

    Hi Al,

Glad to see the updates rolling out, although I find the current version so stable that I’m thinking of just sticking with it for now since I haven’t encountered any of the problems 9.0.2 fixes.

BTW, I’m not sure when you fixed it, but I just noticed that markers now remain visible even when a track is minimized. Thanks for fixing that!

One new feature I’d love to see in the next update is auto-organizing media. For example, any bin could be set to automatically collect all new titles, nests, sequences, AE files, video clips, folder of clips, etc. This would make keeping a project organized a lot easier. A way this could be implemented would be to simply right click on a bin in the project window and select what kind of media should automatically get sent to that bin when imported or created. Media would only get sent to the respective bin, if present, at the moment it’s created or imported. For example, if a user creates a title, it would automatically appear in the ‘Titles’ Bin, if set to collect titles. But after it appears there, the user would be free to move it to any other bin or sub-bin. Search bins are an interesting feature, but this would be far more useful IMO.

As always, thanks for listening and keep up the good work!

I do not see the problem. If i want make title in ‘Titles’ Bin, I can always create a new Title inside the “Title” Bin.

ProRes HQ clips on Pr & ME read timecode as a zero start-
I don’t see this in the bug fixes

    • By Meagan Keane - 11:03 AM on September 10, 2015

If you do not see a fix in the listed fixes that means it has not yet been addressed. Please be sure to submit any/all bugs you are experiencing here: http://adobe.ly/ReportBug

Wondering why Adobe Application Manager still doesn’t see this update. Had to grab it from here. Does this update the splash screen? j/k

  • By Scott Mayo - 2:53 PM on September 16, 2015

I’ve experienced an error in 2015 where some ProRes clips show a starting timecode of 00:00:00:00. I have 100% confidence there’s TC on the clip and I’ve gone through all verifications that I should be seeing source TC. If I open the project in 2014 (export XML) I do not have this error. Any fix in this update? If not, any fix that doesn’t require saving QTs as a new self contained movie? Can’t do that cause I have over 21TB of media on this film.

    • By Al Mooney - 3:00 PM on October 5, 2015

      Hey Scott

Sorry you’re having trouble. It’s harder to troubleshoot that one here, so could you possibly take it to our forums? It’s the best place for support from both Adobe and the community in general.

      thanks
      al.

Has GPU support been added for the 5k iMacs AMD Radeon R9 M295 & R9 M295X cards with this release? Not listed in the support for Premiere Pro 2015 list.

    • By Al Mooney - 3:57 PM on October 1, 2015

      Yes, they’re supported.

      thanks
