Adobe Creative Cloud

Updating your apps is now easier than ever!

Over the last year, we’ve been working hard to improve the experience of installing and updating Adobe applications. While we’ve made good progress, we also realize that a Creative Cloud membership comes with lots of apps, and new versions are coming out frequently. We thought we could do better in how we manage all those updates. So, the team building our Adobe Application Manager has been working hard to address some of your concerns. We’re happy to announce today that a new version of the Adobe Application Manager is available, equipped with an updater! This means its easier to discover, download and install updates for your favorite Adobe applications.

From the updater, we’ll notify you which new updates are available and let you know which installed products are up-to-date. You’ll see a new “Updates” tab that consolidates all the updates, and you can choose to install all of them at once or one-by-one. We hope this makes it simpler for you to stay current with the latest features and bug fixes as we release them in Creative Cloud.

To get the new version, just launch the Adobe Applications Manager and it will self-update. Alternatively, you can download the latest copy here.

We will continue to add more capabilities to the updater and Adobe Application Manager in the future, but your feedback and comments are greatly appreciated — take this survey and let us know what you think!

    Just wondering something…

I know there are a lot of updates that are housekeeping and tweaks to the code. But we just got a seemingly large Pshop update today, after the big one on the 11th! Just made me wonder what was added? Just seems a little description would go a long way to keep users of any level up to speed on what’s what! Just my 2 cents…..

Thanks, you know Adobe Rocks! \m/

Hey Steve. Try clicking the little arrow next to each update to get a description about what it contains. Hope this helps!

Creative Cloud does NOT make updating apps easier. I tried to purchase via the web on 12/22, said there was a problem, tried again, no joy. Tried 12/24 via web, no joy so called order by phone where I successfully placed an order, told I would receive a confirmation email within 10-15 mins, I have yet to receive said email 4 days later and everything looks like a trial asking for serial numbers. Acrobat Pro XI asks for serial number even after following directions in blog. Have contacted support via chat 3 times and no result, they keep saying will be resolved in 24 hrs and never resolved. For a product that advertises immediate access it falls way short. Should be called smoke and mirrors not Cloud. If not fixed Monday, I will cancel my order, apparently Adobe does NOT want or need the business. This product is NOT ready for prime time.

Sorry….it doesn’t work. Can’t update. Can’t access the applications. Canceling my subscription.

If I occasionally get updates failing (eg. error U44M1P7) via AAM, is there anywhere online I can download these updates separately? I have tried the update pages here but the ones for Creative Cloud are not shown, eg. DW CS6 12.1.1 Creative Cloud update. Thanks
