AAMEE 2.1 Preview At Seattle Enterprise Macintosh Administrators Group Meeting

AAMEE 2.1 will have a sneak preview at the Seattle Enterprise Macintosh Administrators Group meeting on Wed 9/21/11. Any organization with a five word long name is cool by me. They go by SEMAG for short, which I just noticed is GAMES backwards. The Seattle Adobe office in lovely Fremont is actually hosting this SEMAG event which is organized by our friends at Apple.

And if getting to be first on their block to see AAMEE 2.1 in action wasn’t enough, I’ll be giving away a few prizes. Why? Because I love prizes. And pizza. Did I mention the pizza? No I forgot that. Pizza, prizes, packaging. Seriously, what more could you want out of a Wednesday?

If you are in the area and would like to attend (sorry for the short notice!) send me an email and I’ll provide you with the details. My address is the first letter of my first name, no space, my last name and then of course at

Jody, thank you for hosting todays event and thanks a lot for the cool adobe swag. I’m sure my boss will confiscate when I bring it in to the office. I forgot to ask, but when is the expected release of 2.1?

So glad you could attend! I personally had a great time. I really appreciated the praise for AAMEE 2.1 and all of the feedback on the direction where we need to go for the future. Talking to customers is one of my favorite parts of my job. And yesterday I got to do that AND have pizza. And we got to show off some old skool systems from our museum in the making including a working Apple Lisa and a NeXTcube. So great day all around.

Now, to you question about when you can get ahold of AAMEE 2.1. Well I happy to report that it is available today via the Adobe Licensing Website (LWS)

We’ll have it up on the DevNet and Creative Suite IT Resources page by the end of the week and I’ll make an announcement post with the links, feature overview, etc. The new Read Me for 2.1 and the much updated Deployment Guide are already up in the Documentation section of the CS IT Resources page:
