Adobe India Hosts Inaugural Partner Advisory Council Meet

The flood of infor­ma­tion and oppor­tu­ni­ties unleashed by the dig­i­tal rev­o­lu­tion has raised expec­ta­tions from cre­ativ­i­ty to unprece­dent­ed lev­els, and brands must change the way they func­tion to deliv­er a per­son­al­ized, com­pelling cus­tomer expe­ri­ence at every link of the rela­tion­ship.

With busi­ness­es look­ing at trans­form­ing dig­i­tal­ly to meet the demands of their cus­tomers, at Adobe, we are strate­gi­cal­ly invest­ed in our chan­nel part­ner ecosys­tem to effec­tive­ly reach out to the fast expand­ing mar­ket in India. Our part­ners are key to our suc­cess in the mar­ket, and play an impor­tant role in dri­ving effi­cien­cies as well as prof­itabil­i­ty. In par­al­lel, cus­tomers are increas­ing­ly rely­ing on the exper­tise of our chan­nel part­ners to solve chal­lenges unique to their busi­ness, and lever­age Adobe tech­nolo­gies to stand out from com­pe­ti­tion. Togeth­er — our part­ners are repos­i­to­ries of tons of knowl­edge around indus­try trends, mar­ket require­ments and best prac­tices – and in many ways, are lead­ing the way on guid­ing small and medi­um busi­ness­es on their dig­i­tal trans­for­ma­tion jour­neys.

Aimed at adding thrust to col­lab­o­ra­tion among our chan­nel part­ners, Adobe India recent­ly launched Part­ner Advi­so­ry Coun­cil — a plat­form for our strate­gic part­ners from across busi­ness prac­tices as well as geo­gra­phies to come togeth­er, to envi­sion and design plans for future growth and prof­itabil­i­ty.

Our first Part­ner Advi­so­ry Coun­cil was suc­cess­ful­ly con­clud­ed in Guru­gram, and wit­nessed par­tic­i­pa­tion from lead­ers rep­re­sent­ing 15 part­ner orga­ni­za­tions includ­ing Com­parex, Ample Tech­nolo­gies and Quadra Sytems, who acknowl­edged the val­ue this new forum deliv­ers in mobils­ing the chan­nel part­ner com­mu­ni­ty in India to dis­cuss how dig­i­tal is shap­ing cus­tomer expe­ri­ences in today’s con­nect­ed world. The day-long event pro­vid­ed an oppor­tu­ni­ty for Adobe and its chan­nel part­ners in India to deep dive into our joint go-to-mar­ket efforts, and dis­cuss key ini­tia­tives in the pipeline for Cre­ative Cloud and Doc­u­ment Cloud plat­forms. Along­with us, our part­ners spent sig­nif­i­cant time delib­er­at­ing on how cloud based offer­ing are shap­ing indus­try trends, and how these mar­ket dynam­ics are chang­ing part­ners’ busi­ness mod­els.

The race to dig­i­tal trans­for­ma­tion has opened new avenues in the Indi­an mar­ket, and led to ‘expe­ri­ence’ and ‘design’ becom­ing mar­quee themes in all busi­ness con­ver­sa­tions. One of the key dis­cus­sions at the Part­ner Advi­so­ry Coun­cil, was the tremen­dous oppor­tu­ni­ty for part­ners to help busi­ness­es dri­ve dig­i­tal strate­gies and win cus­tomer mind­share. Our part­ners acknowl­edged this mar­ket require­ment, and rein­forced the role Cre­ative Cloud and Doc­u­ment Cloud can play in enabling busi­ness­es to cre­ate expe­ri­ences which are rel­e­vant and per­son­al­ized for their dig­i­tal-savvy cus­tomers.

All coun­cil mem­bers also unan­i­mous­ly agreed on a renewed focus on Cus­tomer Life­cy­cle Man­age­ment (CLM) for dri­ving suc­cess of sub­scrip­tion-based offer­ings, and adding depth in the cus­tomer space.

The first Adobe India Part­ner Coun­cil ses­sion end­ed with a lot bon­homie among the mem­bers, who are excit­ed to recon­vene soon to move clos­er to our col­lec­tive com­mit­ment towards help­ing busi­ness­es deliv­er excep­tion­al expe­ri­ences for their end cus­tomers.
