Adobe knows that work doesn’t just happen from 9-5 in the office. That’s why we make products like Acrobat, Reader and EchoSign, with powerful mobile functionality and companion apps which allow millions of enterprise users to work on critical business documents from anywhere at anytime.
Today’s announcement from Google is exciting for anyone embracing the mobile workplace from an Android device. Google’s Android for Work is a new mobility platform that lets users add a single Android enterprise device for both personal and work activities – and lets IT administrators securely manage business apps and data through a single standard without disrupting personal apps.
The need for mobile-first business solutions is greater than ever. Android for Work will ensure that users get access to the best Adobe enterprise apps that run right along side their personal ones, while still adhering to essential IT policies. In a nutshell, signing a business contract with EchoSign and accessing Facebook should not require two devices.
In the coming months, Adobe will add application configuration options to our enterprise mobile apps to allow users to seamlessly and securely move between work and play without the need to juggle multiple mobile Android devices. We’re very excited about the future of work and we hope you are too!
