Fortunately for me, the last day of the recent CS5 tour in the Nordics wrapped up in the absolutely magnificent city of Copenhagen. I bundled up in a coat and scarf and headed out to explore the city as many of the locals do – on a bicycle! Here are a few images from the journey, including the colorfully painted buildings along Nyhavn and the Halloween decorations in Tivoli gardens.

Some details as I set out on my bicycle.

Small detail of buildings as I arrive at Nyhavn.

More details as I get lost around Nyhavn.

I am looking for shadows, lines and how they intersect.

I am looking for shadows, lines and how they intersect - wishing that I could fly in order to change my perspective.

Beautifully painted houses and their reflections along Nyhavn.

Wonderful decorations at Tivoli look innocent during the day...

...and come alive at night!

...but come alive with light in the evenings!

I was trying to travel light, so I took my Canon 5DMark2 with a single, 24-105mm f/4 lens.

thanks for getting back to me. sounds like a safe setup, then. :)

i know i’ve asked you this question before, but do you have a site online where it’s possible to view your images in larger versions?

looking forward to part of the video regarding diptychs and triptychs. :)

        cheers,
        morgan

Hi Julianne, great pictures from my hometown :-) It was a joy to meet you at Cinemaxx, and really liked your presentation, and I can safely say, that “Window Seat” now got a prominent place at the book shelf :-)
Hope to see you again in the future …
