The wonderful folks at Texas School have invited me to give a full day seminar on Lightroom and Photoshop on Saturday April 26, 2014 from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM at the InterContinental Hotel and Conference Center in Dallas TX. Here are more detailed descriptions of topics:
9am – 12pm – Lightroom 5 – Insider Secrets!
Join Adobe’s Principal Evangelist, Julieanne Kost as she demonstrates the astounding capabilities of Lightroom’s Develop module. Julieanne will reveal tools that will help you enhance, refine and add stylistic effects to your images using both global and local non-destructive image adjustments. You will learn how to increase your productivity by creating custom default processing settings, using camera and lens profiles, and saving presets in order to to quickly apply these effects to multiple images. If you’re looking for increased efficiency in your post processing workflow, then this is a seminar you can’t afford to miss! Plus, Julieanne will share her top 10 tipis and tricks for automating Lightroom across all of the modules – from import to delivery of final files for clients.
1pm – 4pm – Photoshop CC – The Creative Composite
Somewhere between the decisive moment and moving pictures lies the world of digital compositing – where multiple images captured at different times layer together to create a whole that is greater than the sum of its parts. In this seminar you will learn what’s needed to create a successful composite and how to reinforce the visual narrative using the right components. Julieanne will demonstrate flexible and productive ways to organize, construct and manage multiple images in a single document using layers, masking, blend modes, opacity, layer groups, clipping masks, knockout effects, layer styles and advanced blending options.
