Continuum —2017 The Year in Review

For the past 7 years, I’ve created a slideshow as a simple way to review the images I’ve posted using Lightroom mobile to my Instagram account ( I find this yearly exercise yields interesting insights about where I am in my life and allows me to reflect upon the places that I’ve gone and the experiences that I’ve had. I would strongly encourage you to create a collection of your own images for the year to see the path that you followed in 2017.

If you are interested in viewing the previous years, they can be found here.

Happy New Year and best wishes to everyone in 2018!

A fantastic set of Images (as ever) Julianne.
I just wanted to say thank you for all the time you put into making blog posts and educational videos for Photoshop and Lightroom. Yours, in my opinion, are some of the best available. I have watched many tutorials of yours over the years and I always know I’m going to be better off for taking the time to watch them.
I really enjoy your no nonsense, easygoing style. I also appreciate when you are completely honest about niggles or caveats with software features with and how to work around them.
    I could go on.
Having not commented on anything before, I thought now was as good a time as ever.
I trust you have had an excellent holiday season and I wish you all the best for the new year and beyond.

Looking forward to your future videos.

    Take care.

    Steve Foster.

Julianne, thank you for sharing your year. You keep growing as an artist and inspiring the community with deeply compelling images. Each is strong on its own, but your presentation of two images playing off of each other is wonderful. I appreciate all you do and wish you a creative 2018.

Happy New Year to you! It’s always a joy to see how you pair images, which ones you select and how you line them up. Inspiring viewing, as usual, thanks for sharing.

What software did you use to layout and stitch the slides into the video as well as add the music.
