Reminds me of May 18, 1980 when I was camping 30 miles south of Mt. St. Helens. If I had been that far from it on the north side, I’d be dead.
So as terrifying and impressive these photos are, I know my own photos of St. Helens only partially communicate the power and majesty and terror of being there in person.
Wow! the lighting and smoke at the eruption of the volcano is awesome.
This must have been an amazing sight to see.
