Does ACR 6.7 includes the new PV 2012 (Process Version 2012)?

[Tom says “Camera Raw 6.7 will respect PV2012 settings when used in conjunction with Lightroom 4 in an Edit-in-Photoshop workflow.” –J.]

Do you know if this version of ACR is built using the new Lightroom conversion engine, or is it just a compatibility patch?

[“Yes.” The new engine has to be in there for the sake of opening LR4-processed images while preserving their appearance, but I don’t think there’s any way to access the new controls. (We can’t add functionality during mid-cycle releases, only compatibility and bug fixes.) –J.]

Will LR3 get this update with the new camera support?

[No, Lightroom 3.6 is the last update available to Lightroom 3 customers. You can use the DNG Converter to make files from the newer cameras compatible with LR3. –J.]
