“The inherent awkwardness of cuddling some random dude”

For his Touching Strangers project, Richard Rinaldi pulls random people off the street & poses them together. The results are kind of great:

From now on, this will be the first thing I show folks who say New York is cold, hard place.

What a great project. Thanks for finding and sharing, John.

    Intriguing photography project.

But one possible takeaway is that anyone can actually do this, and a camera isn’t necessary. You also don’t have to try it in NYC in order to “prove” anything. It can be done anywhere:

It simply takes trust. Not “trust in. . .”, but simply trust. What is trust? YOU are trust. Others will perceive it if you project it with calmness and confidence, and they’ll feel safe in your space.
