UPDATE: The Photoshop Photography Program is back for a limited time. Take advantage of the offer here.

We are delighted to announce that we are extending the period that the Photoshop Photography Program is available without restrictions to December 31, 2013. Photoshop Photography Program

This is hot off the press, and we’re working hard to update all of the relevant information on So, while there may be some inconsistencies until we’re able to update the rest of the site, know that we’re extending the offer through December 31 and that you heard it here first.

Thank you, customers. You and your creative work inspires me to come to work every day. After almost ten years on Photoshop, each day presents another opportunity to interact with you and immerse myself in the amazing things you create using our products. Your response to the initial program has been incredible, well above our expectations, and I am thrilled we are able to extend this program so more of you can take advantage of it.

Happy holidays.

Dear Pam, what about customers like me that own PS CS6 & LR4 but took advantage of the early promotion and signed up for the 19.99 pre month for the full CC for one year. A great deal but when my year is up some time in the middle of 2014 I will not be able to afford the full CC at $50.00 per month. I would like to get the Photoshop Photography Program for $9.99 per month for PS CC & LR5 but it expires about six months before my full year of CC is up. What can you do for your loyal and early adopters of the CC? I believe we your loyal customers should be allowed to get this deal when our first year of CC expires. Thank You Ron

I think the offer is great, however after 1 year what will the price be ???
This seems to be the biggest issue of this whole new subscription method.
We don’t know where we stand on that.
    I had ps5 then now ps6

I would be completely happy at 9.99, or whatever my euro price will be.

After the one year is the concern.

Thank you in Advance for any comments

Hi Nikolas, this is the regular price of the package for those that sign up by the end of the year. Adobe says they have no plans to change it.

      • By rrr_hhh - 3:36 AM on December 12, 2013

Reread the general conditions carefully. There is no mention that the price will stay as is. And Adobes intentions in December 2013 are just that intentions and it won’t be the first time they are changing their offerings.

Further, you may not care for the price in € but I care for the price in my country and it is 40% more than in the US after our 8% VAT subtraction to make the prices comparable: 9.99$ in the US against 14.90 CHF (included VAT).

Reading al the blogs and confusions.
I would like to ask one question.
If I work in photoshop cc.
Can I save my file to be read by photoshop 6 ?

    Many thanks in Advance.

Nikolas: You certainly can! I use Adobe CC with several other photographers and designers that still have CS6 and even CS5 – You can pick what version to save your files in so that everyone can use them. Cheers!

Fantastic Thank you so much 🙂

I think it isn’t entirely correct : if you make adjustments to the raw files using features that aren’t available in CS6, then unless you export the file to another format (tiff, jpegs, psd) you won’t be able to retrieve your adjustments in previous versions.

i have adobe Photoshop elements 10.
my photos were moved to revel.. but why cant i use my elements 10? whats the point in making revel photos only editable on the phone? should i be able to use my software with revel?

  • By Jim Finley - 8:34 AM on December 9, 2013

My situation is similar… I own CC at a “temporary” $30 per month for the full list of applications right now. I use PS and LR but I want to learn to use InDesign and perhaps Illustrator — but not at $50 per month. What about a price point at more than the $10 for PS & LR but less than the $50 “full boat” price?

My husband is an amateur photographer and I am looking at Photoshop products to purchase for him for Christmas and I don’t know a lot about Photoshop. I have a question that may be simple to most here but can he use Photoshop CC without using the main Photoshop product?

    • By Koen - 1:30 AM on December 10, 2013

Photoshop CC is the main Photoshop product, so yes, if you purchase this photography program deal, your husband will be able to use both Photoshop CC and Lightroom.

I just called adobe and they told me that this price is only guaranteed for 12 months. It is subject to change after that, but he didn’t know to what.

    • By Jeffrey Tranberry - 2:59 PM on December 16, 2013

$9.99 is the price, not a first year promo.

  • By Cathrine - 7:52 PM on December 10, 2013

I bought the 9.99 membership for Photoshop and it opens in trial mode and says it is expired. What do I do?

    • By rrr_hhh - 3:45 AM on December 12, 2013

You probably need to activate it. Contact Adobe support if the activation didn’t work. You should have received an activation number from them when you completed the ordering.
